A quiet space within your home that is specifically designated for a massage table, a comfortable chair, and ample room for the masseuse to move around freely during your massage process is essential for creating a soothing atmosphere.

  • Removal of jewelry is preferred.

  • Relaxing music is provided & optional.

  • Hypoallergenic massage cream is used, unless otherwise requested.

Avoid caffeine, alcohol or other stimulants in order to get the most out of your experience.

A softly lit room can have gentle music and calming smells of lavender and eucalyptus. As the therapist uses warm oil, muscle tension relaxes, creating a comforting warmth and a stress-free space.

  • Long hair should be pulled back in a
    hair tie.

  • We start face down and complete
    face up.

  • Body parts not being massaged are
    always covered.

After

After a massage, the body enters a state of deep relaxation, where tension melts away and peace settles in.

  • It is very possible that you will feel tired, sore, and thirsty after a massage session.

  • To help alleviate these feelings, it is recommended to drink water consistently, ideally every hour, until you go to bed for the day.

  • Additionally, you can further enhance your relaxation experience by indulging in a soothing Epsom salt bath afterwards,

Individuals often leave feeling lighter, both physically and mentally, with a renewed sense of balance.

  • A Swedish massage is a therapeutic massage technique that uses long strokes, friction, and other techniques to improve circulation, relieve tension, and promote relaxation.

It's considered one of the most common and well-known types of massage, and is often used to relieve stress and pain, and to energize the body

  • Pain relief:

Heat is a natural pain reliever that can help relieve muscle pain and tension, as well as chronic pain conditions like arthritis and fibromyalgia.

    Improved circulation:

The heat from the stones increases blood flow to the affected areas, which can help with healing, reduce inflammation, and lessen swelling.

    Muscle relaxation:

The heat can help tense muscles relax, allowing the therapist to more effectively manipulate deep tissue.

    Mental health:

Hot stone massages can help reduce stress and anxiety, and may even help lessen the effects of depression.

    Other benefits:

Hot stone massages may also help with joint mobility and range of motion, and can help release toxins from the body.

  • Epsom salt bath: Before a massage

The warm water and Epsom salts can help relax muscles, which may reduce discomfort during the massage. Some recommend floating in a high-density Epsom salt water solution for an hour before a massage.

    After a massage:

The Epsom salt can help muscles relax further, relieve pain or discomfort, and restore magnesium and sulfate levels in the body. The warm water can also increase blood circulation and clear sinuses and chest.

Some recommend adding a few drops of lavender essential oil to the bath for additional relaxation and improved sleep.

You can also try incorporating some light stretching into the bath to reduce soreness.

However, some recommend waiting at least two to three hours after a massage before taking a bath so as not to wash away the benefits of massage oils.
